Snow Chains — Mandatory Requirement

Snow chains are mandatory for all vehicles, including buses, during the declared snow season.
Chains may be required to be fitted depending on conditions.
We recommend hiring chains before arriving. Hire locations include: Erica, Tanjil Bren, Noojee, and Icy Creek.

Declared Snow Season

During the declared snow season, Mt Baw Baw Road is classified as hazardous.
All bus operators must ensure drivers hold the appropriate hazardous area licence.

All LESSONS INCLUDE A SNOWSPORTS PASS

Due to capacity limits, we are unable to accommodate more than 60 people per session in the ski field area.

Cross Country Ski Lesson: $70 per person

Please note: Cross Country Ski Lessons rely heavily on natural snowfall. If conditions are insufficient, we can either run a modified XC Ski Lesson on the manmade snow or change the booking to a Downhill Ski Lesson. The XC option on manmade snow operates in a smaller area compared to the natural trails, and the Downhill Ski Lesson would incur an additional cost.

Terms and Conditions

Final student numbers must be updated 14 days before your trip, and cancellations after this time may incur a staff scheduling charge.
Numbers are considered finalised 48 hours before the visit. No refunds or change of Invoice will be provided after this time.
Accommodation fees must be settled in full 30 days before arrival. Lodges not booked through Mt Baw Baw may have differemt terms and conditions.
Payment is to be made before arrival at the Resort unless arranged otherwise with School Coordinator.
Reissue of invoice due to changes less than 14 days may incur fees.
If you cancel your booking within 14 days of planned arrival an admin fee of $200 applies.
These prices apply for Monday – Friday during the school term only. From Monday 18th July - 22nd September ( this date is subject to snow conditions)
Once booked; accommodation bookings may incur a cancellation fee of between 50% and 100% at the discretion of the private lodge operator.
Once paid; the Resort reserves the right to issue refunds for changes to numbers or cancellation as credit for the next year, refunds may be considered depending on circumstances.
Schools visiting the resort should understand the general Terms and Conditions as well as conditions above.
They should also abide by the Alpine Responsibility Code.

Please Note: During the declared snow season the Mt Baw Baw road is a declared hazardous road. All buses should be aware of this and providing drivers with a hazardous licence.
